I hope you enjoy this autobiography, so raw and poignant at times, and otherwise a whirlwind of challenges and adventures. I look back at how it all began, this entrepreneurial journey into the great frontier of telemedicine, and am in awe that my little startup literally changed the face of travel medicine. Thanks to MedLink, the service arm of MedAire, we managed to connect emergency physicians on the ground to crews in the air and at sea during medical — way back in the day when it seemed impossible.
Yet nothing should be impossible if the mission is to save lives, and MedAire is heading toward 40 years of amazing service to passengers the world over. What an honor and privilege to have founded such an amazing company.
