I’m so proud of MedAire’s ongoing innovations. This video was shot at the NBAA-BACE Convention in Las Vegas, October 14, 2021 by NBAA-TV.  I show up at around 1:30 minutes to highlight our latest aviation medical technology. People are continually amazed when they watch one of our MedLink emergency physicians in real-time take an actual call during an inflight medical crisis.

By the way, I’m wearing the medal presented to me at the NBAA Awards Luncheon where I recognized as being was officially and ceremoniously enshrined into the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF). I was inducted into the NAHF’s Class of 2020 for “being the visionary that pioneered aviation’s first global remote medical emergency response company, MedAire, which directs real-time safety services to thousands annually throughout aviation.” What an honor!

The NAHF Board of Trustees unanimously voted to formally recognize the NAHF Class of 2020 as Enshrinees as of September 27, 2020, after the class’s enshrinement ceremony was cancelled twice due to COVID.

The transcript of the NBAA-TV interview is shared below.

Transcript of Joan’s interview (YouTube and NBAA TV):

“MedLink is known all over the world because we’ve created a reputation based on solid expertise from our physicians. Our doctors are board certified in emergency medicine. Many have double boards and are taking these calls; they are so experienced. They know how to elicit information from the cabin crew and know how to treat them and know how to help the passenger.”
